Green checkmarks are missing from my files in the Dropbox folder on macOS 12.5.1
Even though my Dropbox folders and files are synchronizing properly, I no longer see the green checkmarks on my Mac with Monterey Version 12.5.1. I have shut down and restarted my Mac and uninstalled...

Hey Allan Pole, sorry if this wasn't clear, but there might be other 3rd party apps that could be interfering here, apart from Google Drive or One Drive that is. Do you have any of those?
Also, can you clarify if you upgraded your device's OS lately and if you ever had the syncing icons normally on this device?
Could you maybe try the following steps and let us know if they improved matters for you?
1. Click on the Apple logo located at the top-left of the screen.
2. Click on System Preferences.
3. Click on Extensions.
4. Click on Finder Extensions.
5. Only leave Dropbox Finder Integration ticked.
6.Once this is completed close the window.
7. Click one more time on the Apple logo at the top-left of the screen.8. Click on Force Quit.
9. Look for Finder on the list.
10. Click on Finder then Relaunch.

Hannah, these screenshots show that I have the Dropbox app version 155.4.5493 and my sync history reports that my files are up to date.

Thank you very much, Walter! My Mac OS is up to date, and there was a time when I had the syncing icons. One of my recent downloads, Avira Security, seems to be the culprit. Following your steps resolved the issue, even though Avira Security Finder Extensions have been automatically rechecked. I sure appreciate the help from you and Hannah.

I have a similar problem:
It used to be that I had a green check mark at the beginning of a file path when any file was offline.
Now I have to search to the second to last or last file in the path to find that green check mark.
So now I have to actually open all the folders to see if there is a green check mark somewhere.I had already unchecked the other Finder Extensions in the System Prefenrences - that was not the solution. Does anyone have an idea?

The green checkmarks disappear in Dropbox over time, so I return to Extensions in System Preferences and unselect Avira Security Finder Extensions again.
