How to verify if all my files are uploaded to Dropbox?
I have the 2T dropbox account.
I'm uploading my cellphone's pictures/videos in a total size of about 400GB.
How can I verify if all my files have done uploading? I'm selling the phone so I don'...

Thank you for your reply but I have 51,000 media files. I need to see the total number of files in a folder to compare to what I have on the phone. I can't see the exact files number on dropbox. I looked everywhere. I see number of images per month within the folder, but not a total files in the folder.
When I look at the folder under all files, I see 99+ This is not the exact number of the actual images. Does it show like this because it's still uploading?
Do you have more concrete recommendations as your reply doesn't address my issue at all.

4 days agoYou should be able to select all the files in a folder to see the file count or even calculate the size of the folder rdx111
Let me know if that helps.

Selecting images in a photo folder is not something that can be done at once. Images have to be selected one at a time. As I said I have over 50 thousand image files. How is it a simple information like this no readily available and people have to spend hours to figure it out? I'm still unsure how to confirm that all my files have been uploaded.

Are you using the website to do this or the Dropbox mobile app perhaps rdx111?
Also, can you clarify if you're using the automatic camera uploads feature or if you manually uploaded your files via the (+) button in the first place?
If you could also clarify your device's exact OS version I'd appreciate it.

I'm uploading images from my phone - S22 Ultra. I have the Dropbox app installed on the S22 and my laptop - HP Envy 17, Windows 11. 'm checking progress on a chrome browser on my laptop.
Each time I go to the folder "Photos" in DB, the images sort out differently even though I have it set up as: All Items, by month, and the screen is constantly refreshing in completely random order, which is extremely annoying.
I'm uploading files automatically from the phone, but I'm unsure how I selected the files when I signed up for the plan 3 days ago. I tried uploading files today by trying to select a specific folder on my phone, but every time I tried to upload a file or a folder, the app would take me to my already uploaded DB files. If you have any training videos would be great, or do a screen share.
My phone shows a total image size of 381GB, and 30.76GB for videos. Total images/videos 51413 in the largest folder, and give or take 500 extra images/videos in other folders.
I was also able to get the size from the DB properties app on my laptop. It shows 372GB and 52,086 files.
It's puzzling that the size of the files in DB is lower than the phone, but there are more files in DB vs the phone. It's either compressing the images, or it doesn't match the phone due to some other reason.
Also I don't know if the number difference is due to the total inventory of files on my phone being spread across folders or there are files in DB that are separate and distinct from my phone image files. I haven't synced any other file types aside from the image ones but I do have more documents that I need to backup as well. I just don't know how to reconcile the differences at this point. It's clearly not matching.
