Missing files from a folder and the folder history is empty

Hello,
in had some important files in a folder those files are not in the folder.
Also the folder history is empty, what to do?

      Hi from me as well, Jaka! The files that you are now missing, were they located in a shared folder perhaps? I see Jay asked above, but I don’t think you’ve clarified that (it may help isolate the issue a bit more).

      Other than that, do you have any devices that are currently linked to your Dropbox account (especially the desktop app)? If yes, please have a thorough look through your files there and let me know if you can see something more.

      Could it be that they were part of a Dropbox Backup then 89jaka?Can you have a look at your backups page and let me know what you find?

    How long has it been since you last saw them on the website? Were they in a shared folder perhaps?
    6 Months.

    If you made sure you're logged into the correct account, can you have a look at your events page and let us know what you find?
    I am logged in with the right account. There is nothing listed just untill 7.8.2024.

    This is the place where all uploads, edits, and deletions are normally logged so it should give you a hint. 
    It is empty.

    How long has it been since you last saw them on the website? Were they in a shared folder perhaps?
