No option to copy the link to a folder so I can share it
I've downloaded a folder to Dropbox but can't get a link to send it to others. When i right-click on the folder, i usually get a dropdown screen giving me a link to the folder which i can copy and paste in an e-mail. i'm not getting the link this time around. Am i doing something wrong?

Hi wkrohngold,
It appears that the context menu in the dropdown is not showing, based on your screenshot. If nothing shows in general, is it possible you had a recent OS update on your device?
Finally, what’s the syncing status and app version of your desktop app?
You could try signing in and out of Dropbox to see if that fixes the issues. Can you please try that and let me know that fixes the issue?
Thanks,

thanks for your response, Vlad. I can't find a sign in/ sign out option on my desktop; it's just an icon on the desktop. tried finding the version of Dropbox under Properties, but could not find it. I think it's properly synced.

Please try 'Quit' option that is available in the profile context menu.

The folder you're clicking on is located in your Dropbox folder? If so, what options do you get when you right-click? If you can, take a screenshot and post it here, being sure to mask any private information, if any.

You don't seem to have any Dropbox options on the context menu, nor do the sync icons appear in Explorer. Are you sure the Dropbox application is running? Click the ^ in your system tray to show hidden icons and see if Dropbox is listed. If not, launch it from your Start menu. If the icon is there, hover your cursor over the icon to see what the Dropbox version and status are.
