Sending a shared link of a PowerPoint file only sends a screenshot of the first page

When I send a file link it is just sending a screenshot of the first page of the file (powerpoint). The file won't send. This is a new problem, I have been sending ppt's for years on Dropbox with no issues.

Hi HankTb2, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Could you clarify how you're sending the file to other people?

Are you creating a shared link by following these steps?

This will help me to assist further!

Yep exactly as it says in the link you provided, and exactly the same way I have successfully shared powerpoint files for over 10 years. I have confirmed that screen capture is also off. This is extremely frustration. It is not a screenshot that I am getting a 'share link' for,  it is the actual file - if I download the same file from my Dropbox to my laptop (as a check that I am picking the right file) it is the full, correct file, but using any of the several sharing processes also results in just the screenshot of the first slide in the ppt and nothing else. Love to hear your suggestions.

Hey HankTb2 let me jump in here!

Does that happen with a specific PowerPoint file? If you have another one, can you test it too?

Also, out of curiosity how large is the file, and approximately how many slides it contains?

    Hi Megan,

It's big,  450MB, mainly due to embedded videos, but I have sent larger in the past. I just tried to send it as a pdf and it worked - but of course none of the videos worked when viewed on Dropbox. I also tried to send there ppt again and it worked , but wouldn't open on Dropbox and had to be downloaded to view (which is fine).
