Thank you for your reply.
I don't want the participates to be subjected to emails from Dropbox.
Is there a way the participants can upload photos without needed to set up an account?
I suspect there is not a way to do that.
Did you look at the Requests option I gave you? That does exactly what you are looking for
Hi robvasi
Not via a shared link there isn't, no - because shared links and folders require an account.
However, have you looked at Requests?
Thank you for your reply.

I misunderstood. At first, I thought I would have to email the participants.
I tested this indeed it works like I wanted.
Thank you for your follow-up, and for showing me the solution to my problem.
I set up the request and the folder shows that I am the only one who has access to the folder.
I paid for this dropbox and I can't get it to work.
I don't want to waste anymore time on this.
How do I cancel the dropbox payment so I am not charged any more.
Hi robvasi, you can contact the support team directly regarding your payment for them to look into this further.
Thank you, I will contact them
I paid for an upgrade and yet I am still on the Basic plan
I looked for a contact to support and didn't find any, no doubt I missed it, so thank you for the link
