What is the "Public" folder for?
The Dropbox created folder labeled "Public" - what is its purpose and what happens if we delete it?

The Public folder was a method of sharing that was discontinued in 2017. If you still have a Public folder now, it acts no different from any other folder that you've created. It's just a regular folder.
