Can someone with a paid account share their storage space with me?
I have a client who has a paid subscription dropbox - I am using the free version can this client share his storage with me? he shares his file but since i reach the space my files are not syncing wi...

Hi gd1235, if your account is overquota, any edits or new files added into your Dropbox folder won't sync to your account online, meaning they won't sync to that other user via the shared folder.
In order to sync files, you'll need to free up quota on your account, use referrals to earn quota, or upgrade your plan in order to get more quota.

If he doesn't have issues with the syncing, it means he still has enough space to cover the shared files, probably because he doesn't have much files stored in his account. So, the need to increase space may only have to do with you since you already have files stored aside from the files shared with you by your client. Anyway, your client will know it if he is running short with space because the system will tell him to continue accessing the shared files, he will have to upgrade or increase his storage.
