Dropbox storage space exhausted

What exactly can be seen on your subscription page? There you can see how the account is empty or full. Did you take a look on the backups page too?

Subscription page says 2.8 GB used of 2.75 GB. But I have deleted a LOT of files, so how can that be?
Backup page says 0 files.

I have now deleted more (large!) files permanent. And reload of page shows more storage space available. Thanks for you help. I recognize the error was mine, after all.
