What is taking 1.07 GB?

Received a large file  -over a GB.  Dropbox said I have a 2 GB version (correct) and have used 1.07 GB so can't access the new file.

I havent used DropBox for years, and then only to receive some pics.  Went to "files" and to "photos" - nothing.  Empty.  Went to Deleted files were I found several, used Perm Delete.   Still showed 1.07 GB used.  Refreshed the app.  Same result

Where do I find where the 1.07 GB is being used?

  • Hi @frot, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Deleted files don't take up space on your account, so removing there wouldn't have made any difference to the quota.

Is it possible you have a backup enabled and visible on this page on your account? Can you also look into whether you have any shared folders that might be taking up your space?

    Let me know more!
