Looks like resetting brought back this folder in the folder pane. After I installed it I was under the assumption that it was the way it is which would have been a deal breaker for me. Glad it was just on my end.

Looking at the path of the folder you're in on the screenshot you sent us, I'd like to know more about the location of the actual Dropbox folder.
If you open the Dropbox preferences and go to the "sync" tab, is the location of your Dropbox folder the same as the one in the path on your screenshot?
Also, what do you see when you hover over the small Dropbox icon in your system tray?
