Issue with Dropbox and WordPress Backup Automation
Hi everyone,
I’ve been facing an issue while automating backups of my WordPress site, <<snip>>, directly to Dropbox. The integration seemed smooth initially, but recently, I’ve encountered errors where some of the larger backup files fail to upload properly.
Here’s what I’ve tried so far:
- Ensuring sufficient storage space in Dropbox.
- Checking file size limits and splitting larger backups.
- Reauthenticating the connection between Dropbox and my WordPress backup plugin.
Despite these steps, the issue persists intermittently. Has anyone experienced similar problems with automated backups to Dropbox? Any suggestions on how I can ensure seamless backup uploads?
Thanks for your help!
- Hannah

Other than disconnecting these two services and reconnecting them, there's not much we can suggest here.
Have you tried reaching out to WordPress for more info or support?
Of course, I will leave this thread open, in case any other user is using WordPress with Dropbox and can offer any additional advice.
