I opened a Business account for my team and lost my personal account - how do I get it back?

I wanted to set up a Business account for my team, so I have set it up using the trial period.  But I didn't want to lose my distinct personal account (Dropbox Pro) with my private files.  Howeve...

That would be the only way. Assuming your account is not the team admin, you would need to convert your account back to an individual account using those instructions, and then re-join the team using a different email address.

If you're the team admin, you would need to first make another account the admin of the team.

Also, when you joined the team you would have received a prorated refund based on the time remaining on your personal account. Once the account is converted back to an individual account it will be on the Basic plan. You'll need to resubscribe to your chosen plan again.
