What is the best value for more storage for a personal user?

Help—I’ve run out of storage on my Plus plan.  My husband and I use Dropbox to save our photos, purely personal use.
Would our best value be to add the additional TB of storage or should we switch to the Standard business plan?  Is it OK for the Standard plan to have just one user managing what is uploaded?

Thanks so much!

Hey Photomom413, let me jump in here!

Have you checked Jay's earliest post? Would the add-on be something that'd interest you, by any chance?

Hi Photomom413, thanks for contacting us.

Are you sharing the same Dropbox account credentials with them? In general, this would be against the Dropbox Terms of Service, and could result in the account being terminated.

Regarding your query, you could add 1 TB of quota to your plan with an add-on. Upgrading to a Dropbox team would mean having to pay for 3 individual licenses, which would cost significantly more than the 1 TB add-on.

If you have any further queries, feel free to message back.

    Thanks, Jay!

Maybe I presented my question incorrectly.  This is our family account- where I uploaded our family pictures.  I have access on my phone and computer. I haven’t shared our credentials with anyone.

Essentially, I’m looking for the best way to gain more storage to add more photos.  I would still be the manager/user of the account.

Just so it's clear, are you referring to the Family plan, which is a type of account, or do you have the Plus plan and you're sharing the account with your husband (i.e. he uses the same credentials)?

If it's the latter and you're both using the same credentials, that's the violation of the terms that Jay was referring to.

Sounds like that is the best bet!  I’ll do the add on.

ha- you can tell I’m not very tech savvy.
