How to know who is using my file with Basic Dropbox ?

Hi 

I have Basic Dropbox account with my colleagues. 

I would like to know if it is possible to know who is using a file on the application ? To be sure the file is available so I can modify it. 

Is there a notification system to have warning when someone has the file open on his desk ?
