How do I cancel an account I can't even find or have any login details for?
I'm getting emails telling me to upgrade my storage, but I can't find an account on Google or anywhere on my device. How can I cancel the supposed account when the Dropbox website doesn't give any information about cancelling and they seem to be threatened by the thought of anyone actually speaking to them on the phone... I think they enjoy having 'locked in customers'. Can anyone help me please!!

Hi @daisy may 24, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
The email you're receiving would be sent to the account in question. Have you tried these steps to locate which account you own?
Once you log in, you can then cancel the plan using these steps.
If you need any further assistance, please let me know!

If you can't access your account, you can still try to cancel the payment on the account.
You can do this by opening an incognito/private browsing window, while not signed into your account, and accessing this link, choose 'Other' and then put in an email address that you can access, followed by your billing info.
- daisy may 24New member | Level 2Sorry not helped, got onto a page which needed ID and if the info on that page was related to when I first opened an account it was dated 15th September 2015 and as I can't access an account even with a password which I registered with I can't follow through with anything, there's no way I can find out how I paid. What a nightmare and a total waste of my time... why are you support staff so inaccessible? I'm sick of trying to decipher anything in the help centre. Unless I speak to a human being in your company I'll just ignore the reminders about running out of space and leave 'my account' to hide somewhere on my device. Thanks for nothing!!!
