Logged into my account and all my files are missing
I've had a drop box subscription for a few years and at renewal, December 1st, 2022, I upgraded to DropBox Plus. Last week I had a blue-screen issue on my Desktop and took it to a repairman. He saved...

When was the last time you accessed the account? If it was more than a year ago then the account was likely deleted due to inactivity and you're now signed in to a new, empty account.
What does your Events page show? If the only activity is the 3 recent files, then you're likely in a brand new account.

Thank you for responding. The events page shows that I "added the app" on 10/1/2024. That is the day I saved the videos to Dropbox. No activity at the events page before 10/1. I am 95% certain I have been in my account in the last year (only looking). This does appear to be a brand new account. Is there any way to retrieve the "old account"?

Then assuming you're using the same email address to sign in, you hadn't accessed the previous account for more than a year and it was deleted/had the content removed, and by signing back in you've activated a new account.
This does appear to be a brand new account. Is there any way to retrieve the "old account"?Typically, no. When an account is deleted there's no way to get the previous content back. Are you absolutely certain that you're using the same email address? Check your email (including your spam/junk) for any messages from Dropbox. They would have notified you several times before deleting the account.

Wow! I do not think I asked to create a new account, but you nailed it. I tried my other email and found all the pictures (and a warning that the account is nearly full) in that account. Thank you for your insight and time! You have no idea what a relief this is. Thumbs UP!!

I wish I could go back and Thumb Up your responses or give you credit of some kind. I don't know how to do that. The thumb ups are not active (grayed out).

I received an email late September this year as follows. There's limited space available in your Dropbox. Even adding just one more file might stop your account from syncing and being able to access them when you need to. It did not indicate the account would be deleted, just that it would no longer sync.
