Badges - what are they and how to earn them
If you’re a regular on the Dropbox Community, or even if you’re here for the very first time, chances are you’ve already received one of our badges. If you haven’t got one yet, all you need to do to earn your first is sign up. Then, to earn your second, simply like this post!
What are badges?
Badges are our way of saying thank you for participating in our Community and helping to make it a better place for all of our members. To start off with, they’re pretty easy to earn, like I just mentioned above. However, as you earn more badges and move up through the ranks, they become a little bit harder to come by, meaning only the true Community maestros get their hands on them all.
How to earn badges?
It really is as simple as signing up to the Community to kick start your badge collection. We also award badges for starting conversations, replying to threads, giving and getting likes, having answers accepted as solutions, using tags, and a whole lot more.
We’ve also got some special badges like the Community Member of the Month badge and the Mighty Answer badge, which are only given to those who go above and beyond to make the Community a better place. Check out the table below to see exactly how you can earn yourself an awesome badge collection.
