You might see that the Dropbox Community team have been busy working on some major updates to the Community itself! So, here is some info on what’s changed, what’s staying the same and what you can expect from the Dropbox Community overall.
Please, please, please... dark mode for Paper on the web has been game changing. Please carry this experience over to the iOS and Android apps!

We're closing this idea for now as there are currently no plans to work on this feature. However, we do regularly review these ideas and if work on this feature happens at any point in the future, we'll be sure to let you all know.

I cannot wrap my head around why this fundamental "feature" hasn't been added. Is this product even being supported anymore... or is there a moratorium on new development?

Hey Eaudretsch , I hope you don’t mind me moving your idea to this one, since they were similar.
I can see that you’re also interested in text zoom, so I’d recommend creating a new idea for that one, so that our team can have a clear image of what each user needs.
You can also take a look here for more tips on this.
Hope this helps!

Not sure this makes any bit of a difference considering the age and content of these posts (as well as task status as « not for right now » from a couple months ago) but yes: I too am/was a Paper fan and when i switched from laptop to an iPad as my main machine, i joined the bandwagon of enthusiasts turned frustrated user (all the while an actual paying Dropbox customer) that wish I could use Paper but the lack of Dark Mode is becoming an issue for me.
Paper: I want to love you, I couldn’t convince my team to go with you because i ended up being the last one to root for you and they all decided to go with Google instead because Dark mode is more than just a cosmetic superficial thing. It’s about fitting into a user’s ecosystem, and I sure wish you’d see more updates than the average twice a year, as of late at least. It’s hard to take you seriously, and it breaks my heart Paper, because I had great plans for us. Sometimes I feel I’m just dragging a dead horse but i guess you’re not getting enough love from your makers. Either way, whatever the cause, the result is there: call this wishful thinking/feature request/cherry on top or whatever but please: put a guy on the dark mode deal, even an intern an hour a day, to turn that #ffffff into #000000 and I’ll feel one less twitch at the back of my brain when I pull out my credit card once a year to pay for your big brother’s services…. 🙏🖤

It would be great to get text zoom and dark mode support for paper for iPad. On the 12.9” model, the text looks very small and dark mode would be easier to view.

Why so hard to add Dark Mode for iOS Android users? What developers waiting for? It’s really missing feature for iPad. I have iPad with Magic Keyboard, I would like to use Dropbox Paper, But this White background feels just too bright for my eyes. Web Version for iPad looks too bulky and not good at all. iOS App looks good to use, But Dark Mode absolutely Needed feature for iOS. While you guys lazy to add such a simple feature, ill better to stick with Apple Notes instead. Because reading and making Notes in Dark mode feels much better for eyes, and i feel much more focused. Really, I asked about this feature since Long Long ago, and still NO Dark mode since then. I bet a lot of users need it
