Edit text file in browser window

It would be super handy to edit txt files in the preview window that opens when you click a document in your dropbox in the browser. So I can quickly store some text without having the pain of downlo...

With Dropbox Plus or Professional - is it possible to edit .txt-files online? Grazie mille.

    Buongiorno sholzers, you can currently co-author “.xlsx”, “.docx” & “.pptx” documents with others online & you can also utilize the in-app text editing on your :iphone:, though I appreciate the time you took to post us your interest on this functionality here. I’ve already made sure to add your voice to the feedback gathered internally for future reference. Your comments are extremely valuable as we're always looking for ways to improve & your posts here help us better understand your needs.

    Buongiorno Jane, so it's not possible to edit .txt-files in my Dropbox (PC)? Not even in Plus and Professional plans? Bummer.

    Hey sholzers, you can still edit your .txt files on your pc with your Windows Notepad as you'd normally do (i.e. regardless of the plan you're using) & re-upload them or sync them back to your account on your desktop, though the co-authoring functionality online is currenly available for “.xlsx”, “.docx” & “.pptx” documents. 

    I hope that this sheds a bit more light on your initial inquiry!

    alright, sure, I knew that, but an online texteditor would be greatly appreciated (and should be totally simple to integrate)
