End to end encryption on Dropbox Paper

Just read an article about Paper on Engadget.  While the project almost sounds interesting, the big question is why are you wasting resources on this when there is zero demand for another word processing program that works on the web in the face of Word Online, Google Docs and Apples Pages, truly, just zero demand.

What there is demand for is end to end encryption.  Can we have that instead of features we'll never use and that you'll cancel 6-18 months after rolling it out?

Dropbox is file storage.  Do that well and integrate easy to use, rock solid encryption.

    Hi Scott H.25,

To provide a (much delayed - sorry!) update on this.

You can find out more about how Dropbox protects your files here.

And a team-only sharing of Paper docs here

    Hope that helps!

I find Paper extremely handy. Constantly switching between Dropbox and Google Docs is just too chaotic. Paper gives better B2B collaboration tools, too.
