If the problem is disclosing the email address what about the facility within dropbox to send a message to the file submitter. You could then add a link to the bottom to email sent via DB for allowing them to not receive any future emails from the DB account owner relating to that submission.

Hello,
Please have the devs implement a way to see the file uploader's email and not just their first and last name when it comes to file requests. I am not sure why this hasen't been implemented yet. I have seen multiple request for this. The information is already required from the person uploading the file, why not also provide this information to the receiver. Its crazy that I would need to get a business account, to use the activty page via the admin console, just to be able to see the uploader's email for a file request. If you want to make it a premium feature that's fine, at least add it to the plus or professional plans.
To summarize, in addtion to showing the uploader's first and last name also show their email address when they upload a file via a file request.

When you click on the file that was submitted via the file request you will see in the top right hand corner an exclamation icon which is the "about" section. This would be the perfect place to implement the addtional information, which would include the uploader's email.

People have been asking for this since 2015 so i wouldn't hold your breath, but not having a way of communicating with a file request submitter (even if it is via DB rather than revealing the email address) when DB are collecting their email address does seem a bit of a disconnect.
