Similarly to how local network drives allow for specific permissions, I wish Dropbox had more granular permissions other than Can View & Can Edit. For instance, a user in our company has been accidentally moving, duplicating, and in very rare instances, been deleting files and folders from other user's projects. Thankfully folder activity exists so we can see who was responsible and when it happened, but I would still love to be able to restrict users from doing certain actions in specific folders. Especially for those files you don't want deleted or moved.

Hey SaintPierre_436 - thanks for sharing your thoughts on this with us.
I'm not sure if this would do the trick, but are you familiar with the file locking feature?
If not, would you like to be able to grant edit access to the content of a folder (so that they can edit the files inside the folder), but you'd like to be able to prevent them from moving or deleting those files?
Let me know more and we'll take it from there.
