Hide completed tasks in body of Paper doc
The aspect I love most about Dropbox Paper is that it enables me to view my project as a whole with the level of detail I need in table form, with multiple to-dos and sub-to-dos nested within the table itself. The latter is a feature I haven’t found elsewhere. Task management and the task sidebar are also great.
I use a single table for the duration of my projects (several months). Though necessary to retain history after to-do’s are checked off, after a while, completed tasks take up too much real estate. It would be extremely helpful to have a toggle view to hide completed tasks from the body of the doc. This would be the case whether the to-do’s are in a table or not.
My workarounds so far are to: 1) Delete the completed tasks individually. This is tedious, and I potentially lose info I need later. 2) Copy and paste the completed to-dos to a different column at the end of my table. This is time-consuming, as to-do’s nested in tables can’t be dragged. 3) Copy/paste my table into a new section and archive the old one, then #1 above.
