Dropbox Cast image and Pictures to Chrome Cast - feature request
I am super happy with my Dropbox license which is widely used on Android, iPad, and Windows 10 systems.
However, I miss one feature:
The ability to cast directly from Dropbox on Android and iOS systems.
I'm aware that you can set up your Android device to mirror the screen of a Chrome Cast, but it's cumbersome, and not always very reliable. Often the connection is lost and you have to set up the Mirror again.
If you are using an IOS device, mirroring of the screen is not possible. I realize that there are work around solutions that can be used, for example to use a browser and cast it, but it's not super functional.
My wish, and probably millions of other Dropbox users, is therefore:
Can we get:
Chrome Cast - integrated directly into the Dropbox App - for Android and iOS devices ? ? ?
It will certainly be a feature that will be widely used.

- Since I have used DropBox for a long time, I am asked to save photos to my account on DropBox. I then miss the opportunity to cast / stream my picture to TV, to be able to show the pictures too close and dear. Is there anything you can add to the app?
Att streama är ett måste då man har en massa bilder lagrade på Dropboxe Visa för nära o kära, många mydiga stunder från semestrarna. Jag vill verkligen att ni inplanerar streaming funktionen snarast
i think this is definitely a must have feature now. i store all my photos on dropbox, but have no possibility to quickly show those photos to my family. a bit of a bummer.
- I think it would be a great idea to make it possible to cast videos from the Dropbox app to your tv via chromecast or Apple TV. I know you can screen share with Apple TV but it would be nice to have the option with chromecast and other devices.

I already asked for chromecast.
As it did not exist, I copied all my videos and photos to google photos.
But, as google photos is no longer free, It would be a good argument for users wanting to quit google photos for buying dropbox.

Come-on Dropbox, please. How many votes do you need? This is an idea that could sell itself and attract use of your pleatform.
This should just be implemented, I made this forum account just to upvote this.
It's such a nuisance to use the "Smart View" functionality on my phone to cast since it doesn't work half the time and the quality is really bad, when I download a single picture for example and cast it that way, it's much much better.
Your competitor Google has this feature build in both Google Drive and Google Photos...
