Limiting access to shared folders/files for view/download only

When a person who is requesting access to a file/folder through Dropbox, you need to enable the person who is approving the access request to be able to limit that access to view/download only. Now approvals include edit capability which is not necessarily what the owner of the folder wants to do.  The person requesting access may not know the difference between edit access and view/download access.  This is particularly important when an owner of a folder of pictures wants to share those pictures but does not want give other's the ability to remove photos from the folder and only wants others to be able to view the pictures and download what they want without removing the picture from the folder.

Please email me if further clarification is needed.

Regards,

Ron
