Option to disable delete confirmation popup when deleting online-only files from desktop
When deleting "online-only" files or folders, I got asked for confirmation with a pop up, but there is no "do not show this next time" checkbox.
I know what I'm doing when I delete files and I don't need Dropbox to babysit me.
How can I make that popup go away forever?

the only way I have been able to solve this is to create a dump folder which I move unwanted folders into.

Yes, please give us an option to disable this. I don't like it and not do my Principals who I had to convince to use Dropbox to replace our file server in the first place.

This feature needs to be killed, at least have a "do not show again" option. Incredibly annoying when purging files!!! We are IT professionals, we know the consequences of deleting a 0 byte reference-only file!!! Shocking that this wasn't taken seriously on first flag.

I'd like to add my vote, but I can't see how.

...When I say I can't see how--none of the icons seem to add a vote. They just open other windows or similar. (On Windows 10 PC)

Hi,
I just deleted a folder and got this stupid message. How have you not fixed this yet?!
Regards,
Someone about to jump off this ship
Edit: I concur with the guy above - I can't vote for this despite my undying need to -.-

we need this fixed

Please please add "do not show again" box to this silly message. It should only appear once.
Clicking "delete" each time we delete an online-only file is a waste of our time. I'm paying good money for Dropbox Pro and this interminable pop-up is more like a free version that's full of glitches. Please do something about it.
See, I made one for you. That wasn't too hard, was it? 🙂

That looks useful, but is it just an image in your message, or will it show up next time I try to delete an online-only file in Dropbox?
Thanks, Mary

Hello Mary,
My comment was directed to Dropbox tech team. And yes, you are correct, it's just an image. Dropbox has not fixed the problem yet.
Did you ever succeed in voting for this? Please do. Dropbox takes the number of votes into consideration before solving something (instead of using intelligence and awareness that this does indeed require fixing). Please vote! Here is how. Click on this button:
