You might see that the Dropbox Community team have been busy working on some major updates to the Community itself! So, here is some info on what’s changed, what’s staying the same and what you can expect from the Dropbox Community overall.
I would like to see the same type of share link passwords for the "file requests" function as the download links.
I love the idea of people being able to send me stuff, but I want to make sure only those with a password are able to add things.
Thanks!

I completely agree. Alternatively a share to a folder by url password link and the option to grant upload permission in that folder

Hi superradguy,
I hope you are doing well today. I'm delighted to be able to tell you that this feature request has been delivered!
Now, when using File Request, the requester has the option to specify a password when creating a new request or editing an existing request. The receivers will need to supply the password before being able to upload files to the request.
Hopefully, this makes the experience of using File Request a little bit more secure for both you and your clients.
Thanks, and have a great day!
Graham
