I canceled my dropbox plan and now everytime I sign in there's this big red banner at the top telling me my payment has failed. I don't want dropbox to keep trying to charge me $200 every other day. It's frustrating that there appears to be no direct way to reach a human in Dropbox customer service. I'm wondering whether part of their business model is to continue charging for subscriptions past their cancellation dates and hope that the Dropbox user doesn't notice. I have a confirmation email from Dropbox dated July 09, 2024 that my plan was cancelled and would not renew past August 09, 2024, yet I have been charged every month since then. My card expired in January. Other vendors reached out to ask me to update the card info, but Dropbox, somehow, still successfully charges me using that same card for a subscription I no longer have. Multiple attempts to obtain information to reach Dropbox about this directly have been unfruitful, but I have seen multiple discussions initiated by others having similar problems with erroneous billing on Dropbox's part. Do we have to shame Dropbox by airing this fraudulent practice publicly before they do something about it? I am currently due a $140 refund for the erroneous charges and I'm hopeful that somebody at Dropbox will see this and act on it. I have used Dropbox for electronic signatures and have retained my Dropbox Basic service up till this point, but in light of this experience I will likely switch over to DocuSign.36Views0likes5CommentsHow can I redeem the 50% Discount for Dropbox Plus with Adobe Creative Cloud?
I have both an Adobe Creative Cloud and a Dropbox Plus subscription. I recently saw that I could be saving 50% on my Dropbox Plus sub. It has only recently renewed but as my work situation has changed I need to cut some costs while I seek new work. I want to keep my subscription but want to take advantage of this offer I'm entitled to. Could someone let me know if they've been able to do this? I am trying to pay for a monthly subscription. I solved the first captcha (I saw the message that I had proved I was a human), and then was faced with more captchas, over and over and over! I know I have the answers correct, and even get a message saying something like "You can continue with what you were doing..." then another captcha comes up! What gives? Had an email stating drop box had been down graded, used the link in email to upgrade (used a different card and verified on mobile app, as there was no capacity to update billing information on my account page, see below what I see under billing page) I have had no email to confirm it was done, my drop box is still saying out of storage but the money has left the bank. Why can you pay to add storage to all other plans but not the family plan? I've hit the 2tb limit (easy with multiple family members, personal & business files). The other members of the plan already have enough storage on google drive and will switch, so I'm the only one who needs to pay for dropbox. I'll go from paying $204/year > $120/year. Hi, I need to cancel my subscription because I have lost access to the email id associated with my account. I cannot log in because the 6 digit code goes straight to that email. The company I work for has two paid Dropbox accounts that are being paid through Paypal. We know of one of the two email addresses being paid through Paypal, however management has lost track of the other email address with a paid account and we don't know how to identify or find out what the other email is. So we are blindly paying for a second Dropbox account and don't know how to find out what email is linked to this second paid account.
