I'm using an iPhone with the updated app, and when I select a folder to upload to the Camera Upload folder, it ignores my selected folders. For instance - I only want to upload from folders A and B which I created to sort some photos in my phone album. But when I toggle off the Camera Roll in the Camera Uploads settings, it ignores that and just uploads everything. Am I missing something?326Views0likes2CommentsCamera uploads backuping up photos again
I use dropbox app on my iphone and have set up camera uploads years ago. I periodically after taking pictures open the app and backup new images. Usually this is any where from 20 to 200 images. Today i went to do a backup on my phone through the app and the number of images that were being backed up are over 15,000. That is not possible as dropbox had already uploaded all my images through out several years and the latest backup should only have been a few or so pictures. I have changed nothing in settings for the app to start to downloading images again. Why is it showing that over 15,000 pictures and videos are being backed up? When i go into the camera folder it ahows I have 21,549 files. So the backup should only be adding 176 files as I have a total of 21,725 images and videos in my iphone 13pro camera roll. So it is not also clear if the app is actually creating another duplicate file, rewriting over one already there or doing something else but it should be backing up over 15,000 images.1.6KViews1like4CommentsAll App permissions enabled, yet App won't allow camera uploads?
Hi Folks. Latest version of the Android App 358.2.4 will not allow me to enable Camera Uploads. The app displays the message "To enable camera uploads, all permissions must be selected." I then went to the permissions in app settings and as you can see - "No Permissions Denied." I tried numerous restarts of my phone and it keeps doing this. It was working fine until this latest version was auto downloaded and installed. Is this a known bug? Any suggestions how to fix? Thanks!!!855Views0likes1CommentCamera Uploads Keeps Crashing - Dropbox for iOS
Hi there. I have had camera uploads for years and years. The dropbox app keeps crashing now - and I think it is because of too many photos. I saw this post (https://www.dropboxforum.com/t5/Create-upload-and-share/Force-phone-to-re-upload-all-photos/td-p/635871) but I cannot get my computer to authorize my computer for this (it is set up for default action to import to dropbox). Any help would be greatly appreciated!Solved1.9KViews0likes9CommentsDropbox Android will not automatically upload camera pictures over NordVPN
Today I noticed that Dropbox Android will not automatically upload camera pictures over NordVPN. It claims that I am offline, when I actually have a fast, stable connection to the internet. Is anyone else experiencing that? Does anyone know how to fix it? I'd appreciate hearing about it.1KViews0likes8CommentsAndroid - camera uploads progress bar missing
Why is the the upload progress bar is missing on camera uploads? I have no idea if the upload is complete, stuck, still going... no feedback whatsoever, it's just happening in the background. Not to mention I have to launch the Dropbox app to trigger camera uploads. Poor. It's all so broken these days. Samsung S9+ on Android 9.0, all up to date. Edit: I've found it, in 'Photos'. Having to open Dropbox to start uploads is still the case however.Solved2.6KViews0likes5Comments
