Can't watch videos from my computer when uploaded from my phone to a shared folder.
I have a shared folder with my business partner that we upload videos of property walkthroughs in. We can watch these videos from our phone, but when we try to open them up a computer the audio will play but the screen is black. Is anybody else dealing with this issue and know what the fix is?
I put all files available offline, but Dropbox doesn't download them.
Hi! I recently bought a new Macbook and wanted to sync my files to my new computer. Unfortunately, I am unable to download all the files. They are mostly kept in the cloud. I changed the preferences to offline in the Dropbox settings, but this did nothing. What to do? I need to have all my files available offline, because the cloud version prevents me from searching files and file contents via Spotlight and browsing through pictures is a drag. I have the latest Dropbox, 2TB subscription, Macbook M3 Pro, all the latest updates.
Why is there picture rotation when importing files into Microsoft Photo Editor from Dropbox?
I shared a link to my dropbox for a file with photos. The person I shared it to opened the file in Microsoft Photo Editor, All the pictures were rotated 90 degrees from their orientation in dropbox. I have a cookbook in Dropbox so I can share it with my grandchildren. I created a new recipe today Potato Soup in Word and saved it to Dropbox. It shows up on my HP laptop where I created and saved it, but I went to Dropbox on my iPhone so I could create a link and text it to them, but it doesn't show up on my iPhone. The rest of the cookbook is on my iPhone.
How to make my files available offline, so that I'm able to transfer them?
Hello everyone I am new to Dropbox. I have the free trial. I am trying to download all my photos from various phones into Dropbox. Then I am going to transfer them onto an external hard drive. I have just downloaded Dropbox onto my PC and the photos all have clouds next to them. How do I download them so I am able to transfer them. I have thousands so doing this as multiples would be better TIA.
Camera Upload thumbnail not showing on mac
I use Smart Sync I'm on a Macbook Air Ventura13.5.2 I know SmartSync doesn't download the files to your laptop but I'm pretty sureI used to get low-res thumbnails of the images in my Camera Upload folder Since updating to the newest OS that seems to not work anymore and I just see the generic icons now. If I "make it available offline" then it downloads the image and the thumbnail works but I'd love to have a low-res thumbnail so I can tell if I should download it or not.
I see a box next to my photos on my computer and I can no longer open them.
I have used Dropbox to save my photos from my phone and have access to them on my computer. Suddenly I've noticed that I do not have access to all my photos on my computer. I see them, but they have a box around the photo name and I cannot open it. Is this because Dropbox has suddenly started asking for subscription money? And, if I pay, will I have access to my photos once again?
