I get this email almost daily: "Eligibility confirmed: NAME, you'll lose access to your files if you don't act soon!" I have 1,7 / 2.0 GB on my free storage. What do you mean by this message? I'm no native speaker, but this "you'll lose" is factual statement to me. But how can this be correct as I'm roughly 10% below my max. quota. How can you state something like this? Is this some kind of harassment towards me to make me buy more storage? Please confirm, Do I lose access or not? If the size of the data remains as is?Solved1.3KViews1like8CommentsHow can I check my storage on Dropbox?
Hello all, Dropbox added me in a free trial I did not request. I had free 2 GB now they want $11.99/month for 2 TB. I am a sole user and will never need that. If I transfer some files elsewhere like my free Google Drive, how can I check my storage on Dropbox as I delete enough files to get back under 2 GB? Can I continue to use my free account then? How please. Thank you.Solved1.9KViews1like5CommentsCan I keep my Dropbox files even after my promotional space has expired?

Hello - Recently, I reset my computer to factory settings due to a suspicion of hacking. As a result, I had to format my drives, including one that was linked to Dropbox. Before the reset, I checked and believed that the files on this drive had been backed up to Dropbox. However, upon looking today, it appears I have lost a significant amount of critical content; only one file remains in the folder. I am reaching out to see if there is any possibility for Dropbox to recover these files. I would greatly appreciate any assistance or guidance, as these files are of significant importance to me.346Views0likes7CommentsHow can I be using 8.69 GB out of 2 GB? Where can I check my actual storage?
Hi! I am Basic (2 Gb) customer. How can it be: "Using 8.69 GB of 2 GB space"? I looked through my Dropbox current content and nowhere didn't find the option to show the real memory storage occupied by each my material. I would like to delete some my items to remain within the legal memory limit of Free Plan. How can I do it?889Views0likes17CommentsEmail that "your Dropbox account is over capacity" but I've made no changes?
Received an email prompting to upgrade my account today -- "⚠ Immediate action advised: [name], your Dropbox account is over capacity" When I log in I do see it showing almost 300GB used of my 5.75GB limit but -- I haven't made any changes and have less than a couple gigs of actual usage. Impossible to figure out what is taking up space or if this is some kind of weird error? Nothing in shared, nothing in backupSolved316Views0likes2Comments
