Can't understand the meaning of the Dropbox icon in the finder and it doesn't sync.
My system info HW:Apple M1 Pro OS: Ventura 13.5 (22G74) Dropbox ver: v180.3.4837 & joined beta Dropbox beta has an incomprehensible behavior when using the file provider feature on macOS. As shown in the finder screenshot below, I have set "Make available offline" except for a few folders. However, the cloud with arrow icon(next to the dropbox icon) is "not downloaded" and the dropbox status in the menubaris "your files are up to date". Doesn't "make available offline" mean that all files are accessible offline on my macbook? But what does "not downloaded" mean? No matter how long I waited, the "your files are up to date" status didn't change, so I finally clicked on the cloud icon in the finder to actually download the files. After that, the dropbox status didn't change even after hours of waiting in "syncing..." as shown in the screenshot below.
Family Plan can't move folder to Family Room and can't share this folder even if when I'm the Owner
Hello everyone, we just started a Family Share plan. I have seen the Family Room folder created and wanted to move our Family folder into it (we used pro plan in the past). While trying to do this simple task I'm getting an error that I don't have permission to do so, but I'm the owner of everything and family manager. Any thoughtson how to resolve this error?
Difference between shared folder and family room
My team used to each have an account subscribed to the plus plan and we shared a folder to access the files as a team. We recently decided to start a family plan and are wondering what exactly is the difference between a shared folder and a family room when subscribed to a family plan.Dropbox app vs web browser uploading files.
I was looking to clear some Disk space onmy hard drive and used the dropbox app to put a bunch of family photos on dropbox. WHen I use the web browser moving a set of images can take about 5 minuets as they upload. however when I use the app they appear almost instantly... Are those images actually being uploaded and if not where on my hard drive did they get moved to? Thanks.
