How to Share Pictures using Dropbox Hey Community Friends! 📷 Karina here, and I’m happy to be sharing with you the different ways you can share your pictures using Dropbox (on the web & your mobile devices), on various Social Media platforms (ie. Facebook Messenger & Instagram), as well as how you can display your images on websites as a workaround to how Public Links were once displayed on websites, and through Dropbox Paper. Let’s start off with the basic and most common way to share your photos:Solved51KViews2likes4CommentsPaper docs tree of folders
We started to use a paper for our team wiki, but when you have several categories and lots of docs/permitions, its hard to orient in data layers. Tree of it will be great 👍 Guys from https://www.notion.so made a good job on that, but they are to expensive for us at the moment.31KViews98likes41CommentsMake a copy of a whole folder that is used as a template.
One function that is needed in Paper is the ability to duplicate folders and files. A huge part of functionality for me, in Evernote, is that I develop a template folder with a multi-note structure. I then duplicate that template whenever I need. This functionality is sorely needed in Paper. I currently see no way for me to take a folder and copy it within Paper.28KViews36likes16CommentsAbility to attach Dropbox files to email in Mail app on Ipad has disappeared
I have regularly been able to attached documents from Dropbox when creating an email on OSX Mail app. However, now I am not able to. Steps that fail are below: Create email on iPad with Mail. Tap on the paper clip icon OR tap in the body to get banner of options, including Add Attachment Window opens with file access options; under LOCATIONS, find ICloud Drive, On My IPad, and Recently Deleted. No Dropbox option. No MORE... button anywhere to add Dropbox as a choice for Mail to attach documents. I have looked in Settings for a way to tell either Dropbox to allow access or Mail to get access to Dropbox. No success yet. Please, any solution? I have found discussion of problem with Outlook and referral to Microsoft, but there is no MS Office involvement in this issue. Thanks in advance.Solved28KViews2likes20CommentsPaste an image in Dropbox Paper
On iOS, risn't now if you copy an image from a website or another app and try to paste it into paper, it gives you a text box saying "User uploaded image:", instead of the actual image. This feels like a bug. Almost every other rich content editing apps allow pasting an image, google docs, Apple mail, messages, etc, even desktop browser version of Dropbox Paper supports that correctly. This problem is quite anoting since now you can't quickly add an image you find on a website or something you draw with another sketching app (sometimes sketching an image or diagram is important). A workaround is to save the image to camera roll and then insert the image from camera roll in Paper, but (1) inserting image is a 2 step process where you have to choose between take a photo vs from library, (and sometimes 3 steps since you have to choose a folder from photo library); (2) having to save a temporary image into photos clutters your photo library (and probably also your google photos library if you have auto upload there) since these are just temp images meant to be embedded into notes but not for photo libraries.28KViews2likes5Comments
