Issues with Camera Upload
I’ve been having issues with my Camera Upload feature in my IOS Dropbox App. Usually when I open the app on my iPhone X, Dropbox will start locating the photos that it hasn’t uploaded yet and start uploading them. Now, it just reads “Starting camera uploads….Looking for photos” but nothing ever happens. I’ve tried closing/re-opening the app, deleting the app/re-installing, updating my IOS, deleting other photo cloud apps (Google Photos), and even upgrading to Dropbox Plus. None of these attempts have help solve my problem. Does anyone have any advice?
Difference between shared folder and family room
My team used to each have an account subscribed to the plus plan and we shared a folder to access the files as a team. We recently decided to start a family plan and are wondering what exactly is the difference between a shared folder and a family room when subscribed to a family plan.
New Beta has some issues
Having an absolutely terrible time with this new Beta (mac) build and have left multiple messages for support that go unanswered. When exporting files (small jpgs mostly) to folders within the DB folder, some will inevitably just decide not to upload. ever. They'll have an empty cloud icon next to them, and right clicking them brings up no DB items (the uploaded ones do, however). It usually takes renaming them, moving them in and out a bunch of times, etc, to get it to sync. Incredibly annoying. Now it's not uploading half of a folder, there are no cloud icons but when I click the DB upper menu icon, it shows all of them 'waiting to sync' but never actually syncing. When I tried quitting the app and relaunching it, it kept freezing on launch, eventually got it to launch fully but it's still doing this. one other annoying but neutral thing it's doing is telling me my hard drive (with 200gb free) is almost full. it tells me this daily. just needed to rant about that. This is the worst beta version i've ever experienced in an app ever... anyone else having this experience?
Copy files from icloud to dropbox
Hello all. I have copied all my iCloud Files & Folders, via Finder, to Dropbox. They DO show up in Finder-->Dropbox. They do NOT show up on the web. All other files show up instantly but none of those I just copied did. Does anyone know why the files aren't showing up on the website? And, how do I correct this? Thank you all!
