I have a shared link to a gaming document that I've been using for a while. However, every time I've tried to use the link over the pass couple of days, I get the message shown below. I've refreshed the page, used different browsers, cleared my cache, but nothing seems to work. I've had others test the link and they've been able to use it just fine, so I don't believe the document has been delete. Seriously...i dont' see it anywhere. I had two questions/issues (other than not being able to find the chat box). I mainly trying to download 4 new folders to my computer to do some video editing: in Selective Sync, i select the "select folders" button, and then it says, "Couldn't load your folders right now. Try again later." when i got to the online DB folders, i also can't find an option to make them available offline. So...kinda stuck right now. I have a user who, when given shared access to files in folders as View Only, was able to view the files in those folders for over a year without any problems. Now he can't access. When I checked in Dropbox on his status, his email address was still in the list of shared users for those folders, but it had DELETED in red listed next to it. ???? No changes at the Dropbox Admin end were made to cause this. So in an attempt to fix it, I went ahead and removed him. Now, when I try to add his email address back, I get the message "One or more names or email addresses you entered are invalid". But his email address is still a good one. Hello there, I recently got banned for sharing links with malware, however I know for a fact that the files I'm trying to share do not have malware in them. They are accessibility enhancements for people with vision impairments attempting to utilise digital audio workstation software. I've been banned for high traffic before, but not once have I purposefully attempted to share malware. As a user of a free Dropbox account, I can't email Dropbox or open a ticket so how can I get some assistance with this? I'd greatly appreciate any help. Hello, I have been a Dropbox user for several years now and I use Dropbox as the main way to share files for my business. Recently I uploaded some files and shared it to a friend and since then I was banned from link sharing and I did not receive any email detailing how to resolve the issue. The error I get whenever I try to share a link is the following: Can’t share file Error in call to API function /2/sharing/create_shared_link_with_settings: We’ve interrupted your sharing activity because you tried to share a file that may contain malware. Check your email for instructions on how to resolve this. I've contacted customer support by chat and email, however, they have been extremely slow and unable to resolve the issue in a timely manner. I have also permanently deleted any files that could be causing the issue as well. Im sure this is a false positive but I am still banned from sharing. This error is negatively impacting my business and I will delete my Dropbox account and switch to a competitor like Box if this issue isn't resolved ASAP. I read several post from this forum mentioning other users experienced the same issue and it has been years with no resolution. This is not an option here. I'll will contact Dropbox by X as well and leave several negative reviews if this is not resolved soon. I just want to fix my link sharing and resolve this issue ASAP.
