Question When I use my Dropbox from the browser I can see the size of my Dropbox and how much of that space is being used. But if I click on folders within my Dropbox I cannot see how many files are within the folders (without having to count them all myself), nor can I see the size of each folder. Is there a setting that will allow me to see this info? Thanks, BBNSolved6.4KViews0likes10CommentsHow do I download files from a link sent to me?
Got an Email with a link to download some files. When I open the link, my Email is allready written, only a password missing. Is this a my email/my password combination or my email/file access password(from the person sending the files)? My email/my password does not work and the person sending the files claims they did not put a password on the link/files. Thank you! I have a large amount of data that I am holding in my Dropbox account (1.2TB) for legal purposes as advised by my attorney. The purpose is to show that the files have not been altered and being hosted by a third party is critical to that objective. The third party is Dropbox. But, I need more space and want to use a Family Plan but I can't get that. Is it possible for me to setup another drop box account, share the directory containing these files with that account and disconnect it from my current account and then change my current account to a Family Plan with the explicit intent of the date and time stamps of these files being what they are today?Solved1.4KViews0likes5CommentsCalculate Size is Unavailable, earlier topic didn't help
Hi, I have the 2TB plan. When I log into the browser I don't get any option of seeing/calculating the size of a file or folder. Tried other browsers as well. It is just not there. So tried this in multiple browsers: Sign in via the website. Select the Files tab. Click a column header. Choose the option Size. Hover over the folder and click the check box next the folder you’re interested in. The option to Calculate size should appear in the right sidebar. I hope there is a simple solution.Solved1.1KViews0likes8CommentsWill files downloaded from Dropbox, remain on my hard-drive if I deleted them from Dropbox?

Hi! I would like to download content from someone else's dropbox, however, I do not want them to know that it is me (I will be signed out). Even if I am signed out, will they see that someone downloaded it? And if so, will they be able to track down my location (country, etc). Thank you!924Views0likes3CommentsI can no longer see the number of files selected in a folder.
As of today, I can no longer see the number of files selected in a folder. Previously, there was a display at the top of the screen that would show, for example, "6 Files Selected." I've tried everything I can think of but can't figure this out. Also, my coworkers have not lost this display, just me!?!? Any help would be appreciated.Solved729Views0likes2Comments
