How can I export my Dropbox folder in a team to a new Dropbox account?
Hi Everyone- I had my own Dropbox account with my work files. Another company that I am affiliated with invited me to their Dropbox and when I accepted the invitation, it converted MY Dropbox account with theirs. I was able to still access my files, but under their Dropbox. That company is now closing and I want to export my folder to a new Dropbox account. Do I need their admin to do that? What are the steps involved? Thank you in advance for your help.
Password protect access to Dropbox folder
I think it would be a great feature to enable access to the dropbox folder through a password protection option. That way the files could be protected from view if another person has access to my account. Say another person uses my computer when I am away on vacation. It would make sense in this case to temporarily lock it from view. I am aware that you can remove folder from syncing. Although it can still be toggled on and off by anyone who has access to my computer. Not protected enough.
