hello I have an account for several years and this morning i joined by mistake (thought if was a shared folder) another existing account so my own personnal account is terminated. This is a catastophy, could you please help me? Hello community, Today I tried to access a teams folder as I do once a week but when I opened Dropbox, I was logged of and after typing my login credentials I got a message saying that my account was ELIMINATED and ask the admin to invite me again and I did but after accepting the invitation I got a new message saying that I have to wait 6 days before trying to do that and I’m just blocked at work because I cannot access the teams folder. What’s up with that? Why dropbox eliminated me? (The Admin didn’t do it) Why do I have to wait 6 days? Why no previous notification informing me that this would happen?
I joined a Team Dropbox, how can I leave it?
I just accepted a link to collab on a folder, it now appears I am part of their team which I do not want to be. In my folder all our company data is now stored as part of their teams and dropbox has just refunded me money ? How do I undo this VERY QUICKLY ?Does a previously upgraded account keep its upgrade after being removed from a team account?
Hello, A query; I accidentally added using Dropbox teams to the team an account that I did not want, I proceeded to unlink it with the option to convert it into a personal account. My question is: this account was personal with a paid license before being added to the team, with the option chosen to unlink it keeps its paid license?
How can I invite back a team member I deleted?
Hi Community, I am the admin and I accidentally deleted a staff members account, as an example, lets say I deleted "steven@company.com". We have a company dropbox. I would like to add Steven back with his company email: "steven@company.com". If this account was deleted does that mean I can never invite a team member this this email again and that I longer have access to that email? It does not appear to be letting me re-add "steven@compay.com". Please advise!!
I was sharing a file with a client and I accidentally joined their team. How do I leave it?
Yesterday i needed permission from a client to download a file. After recieveing permission, my dropbox account is linked to my clients and i no longer have control of my account. Infact, shortly after receiving permission i was sent this email: Thank you for joining "Elite Media Team" on Dropbox for teams! Your previous Dropbox Plus subscription has been cancelled and we've issued $3.71 to your original payment method for the remaining value of your subscription. If you've got any questions, please contact us. Welcome to the team! - Dropbox I do not work for this Elite Media Team but now my dropbox is connected to theirs. How do i disconnect myself from them? Elite says they have deleted the folder i was shared to. Still when i log on to dropbox (website or pc file explorer folder) i (and my entire team) am getting the clients dropbox folder. how do i go back to my own? Dropbox says i need to be an administrator, which i am for my organization, to remove someone from a group. Since i am not an administrator with Elite i do not have this option. Please someone, for the love of god, help..... thank you!
I have lost my whole Dropbox account after joining a team
This morning someone tried to share a folder with me. As had been done many times. But this time DB asked me something about joining a Team account, which I reluctantly agreed to. I stupidly agreed to what turned out to be moving my files (my whole account really) to under this new account. I then got an email from DB saying that my previous subscription had been cancelled. That's not at all what I wanted. So now I have lost all of my previous files. Disaster! How do I resurrect my previous account?? How frustrating that DB has no human being to help!
