It would be helpful to have the option to make an early payment for subscription renewals, especially when users have access to time-sensitive promotional discounts. This would allow users to take full advantage of discounts before they expire, even if the scheduled renewal date is set later. I believe this feature would add more flexibility and enhance the overall user experience including me. Thanks!40Views0likes3CommentsLoyalty program to redeem points to reduce subscription fee
I'm very surprised that a 7 billion dollar market cap publicly traded company doesn't have this already. Other companies do so why not this one? Basically every year that you're with Dropbox on a paid subscription you get points that you can redeem for dollars off of your subscription. That way there can be loyalty points involved and more LTV for Dropbox. As everyone knows there are a lot of places where we can store data but Dropbox is the best. Let's please make a loyalty program and by doing that Dropbox will be seeing more revenue that way but also we as customers would be also getting a benefit from it as well. So a win win win situation Thank you in advance.18Views0likes2CommentsMy paid account has been downgraded to Basic after making the payment.
From INDIA using ICICI bank debit card. I made the payment for a yearly subscription renewal. Here is confirmation email text: A purchase of Rs. 10,666.45 has been made using your Debit Card linked to ICICI Bank Account XX914 on 11-Feb-25. Info: VIN*Dropbox Now, my account has been downgraded to our Dropbox Basic plan. What is this? How do we get support on this kind of issues? The website gives no email address to contact.46Views0likes4CommentsI can't remove my credit card from my account, even though I've cancelled my Dropbox plan.
I cannot remove my credit card information from my account. I see this is a common issue on dropbox. And I know that even though I canceled my subscription I will be billed again next year for something I don't want. I find it outrageous that I have no control over my own credit card information. As far as I'm concerned this is being done on purpose so you can keep billing people who don't want to use this platform anymore. Maybe a class-action lawsuit is in order. Or maybe it's time to alert the press. It's unbelievable how many people cannot perform the simple act of removing their credit card info.1.6KViews1like23CommentsI accidentally created a new Dropbox account with Google and I can't access my Plus plan.
I'm having trouble with my subscription being downgraded from DropboxPlus to DropboxBasis. Because the amount of data in DropboxPlus is more than allowed in DropboxBasis, my subscription is no longer accessible. I myself have not ordered for downgrading. The cause seems to have started because a new app – which I tested – wanted access to the "Plus" subscription. I probably accidentally pressed the Google button for the necessary login, which eventually created a new account (the email address of the original DropboxPlus account is not the email address at Google). Not much later I received an email reporting the downgrading. I admit that this led to a lot of stress in the expectation that there might be little left of the stocks. I then investigated whether I could fix this and do not rule out that this has led to wrong (payment) actions. I contacted Dropbox about this and got a ticket. I did have a reaction but I couldn't do much with it. It also became clear that my account type will not immediately lead to further substantive action. I just had to figure it out. In itself, figuring it out is okay, but if you don't master the English language and have to rely on machine translations, you won't get much further. I was able to disconnect the newly created account from Google and give my own passwords. So it could be removed. Still my original account remains inaccessible ....... And...... In the meantime, I see two mutations on my bank account today. A debit and a refund. I would like to know what the status is of both the original and the new account but how…….99Views1like9CommentsI've paid for Dropbox, but I don't see more storage on my account.
Hello, yesterday i upgraded my Dropbox from Basic to 2TB. Dropbox has already charged me and i have paid, but i can’t see a change in my storagelevel. I have already tried to “Reload Purchase” but i jst get an Error 409 code… has anyone tried this before?19Views0likes2CommentsI'd like a 500GB plan for $5 or 300GB for $3 a month.
I love the convenience of drop box but I don't use it in a way that makes 2tb of storage for 10 bucks a month a good deal. 300-500gb is the perfect sweet spot for me to do small photo shares and documents and have important files synced to all the places needed.37Views2likes1Comment
