------------------------ It would be very helpful to have the option to select which directories to include or exclude in the "Photos" section. We often store images or screenshots in specific folders, and these end up mixed in with our main photos, creating visual clutter. Being able to limit the display to only the directories that actually contain photos would help maintain a more organized and focused experience. For some reason I cannot pate the screenshots after I press "Print Screen". I have dropbox on my pc set to copy link when image is ready and then there is a pop up on the bottom right when I take a picture and it says "press ctrl+v to copy" BUT IT DOESN'T work at all!380Views0likes42CommentsKeep original file names in camera uploads feature on mobiles
The idea is not to rely in manually uploading all the time. I want to keep my pictures backed up in case of phone loss or damage, but the names are important as I keep the media backups in multiple places and if the names don't coincide, reconciliation is a hassle. I often end up having to double upload and compare pictures manually so I can see if any of them are missing, and delete the ones with names altered by the Dropbox app. This feels like unnecessary work altogether.29Views1like2CommentsNew screenshot update
So dropbox randomly updated to new screenshot expirience which is not useful as it was. I've always used drag and drop feature while screenshot appeared on the corner to quickly throw file on desktop or import it to file, but right now it have annoying icons on it and i cant drag the picture into any app or do anything about it, what the point of this update? Is theres a way to revert this? Did you tested it with real users? I can always do mark up inside macos preview, there no need of "dropbox" feature for this IMO25Views1like4CommentsProblems sharing photos
I’ve shared photos in the past, but not successfully recently. Using Windows 10, I set up a folder to be viewed by anyone with a link to it, moved in some photo files, downloaded the link and emailed it. I got a response that DropBox was asking the recipient to login. I checked the website, only to find that although the folder is shown for viewing by “Anyone with link”, each of the JPEG files within it was listed under “Who can access” as “Only you”. Why are the settings for the individual files not aligned with the folder I moved them into, and how can I align them? Why is the link user being asked to log in, and how can I avoid this? How can I check myself that future links work as expected, rather than annoying recipients with links that don’t work?Solved52Views0likes5CommentsBoost your Photography Game with Dropbox in 2025

If I have a folder with 500 images, at the the moment it's just possible to mark an image with a star. But thats not enough to make a selection in several passes with one more teammanager. So I wish to have: In the overview, mark and comment photos with different statuses or stars (1 star, 2 stars, 3 stars, …) so that you and team members can make a selection from a large number of photos. I just upgraded to a family account with the idea that I could categorize our photos in different folders “Christmas Photos”, “Family Photos”, each kid with photos from over the years, etc. the expectation was that the family go could into any folder and find photos they want to download or share with extended family/friends. They could do that, but the probably was ALL the photos go into everyone’s Photo Tab. What felt like my kids’ private photo backup area was now cluttered with thousands of photos, so I’m having to keep the categorized photos in my own drive and just share with my wife. All that to say it would be awesome to have the option to exclude photos added to the Family Room from the Photo Tab.43Views0likes1CommentWhy are photos being uploaded twice?
Hi there, I’m hoping someone can help me out as I can’t figure out why certain photos are being saved multiple times when I upload them. I upload from my iPhone and in my most recent upload, there were 27 photos in my camera roll that I uploaded and the total that ended up in the Dropbox folder was double that….. 54. It seems to be saving every photo as a png AND a jpg….? Please help. Thank you!43Views0likes3Comments
