How is it possible that I cannot view the message I sent along with the file that I shared with a team? I was just told by one team member that they never received the email that I shared and I just went to try and find it as proof but there is no where to find these emails. At the very least you should automatically copy the sender (via their account email) so that there is a record of this share in my emails.Solved1.1KViews3likes3CommentsIs there a way to collaborate on shared files in real time to avoid conflicted copies?
I share my dropbox files with other users for work. I my co-worker has a document open and changes the file at the same time I have it open it creates another copy of that file. My team used to each have an account subscribed to the plus plan and we shared a folder to access the files as a team. We recently decided to start a family plan and are wondering what exactly is the difference between a shared folder and a family room when subscribed to a family plan.2.3KViews2likes4Comments"check your internet connection and try again" When trying to share a file?

I am needing to provide a place for a couple of videographers to upload files to my Dropbox so I can include them in my edits. When I created a shared file and sent it to them, they respond that they are asked to create a Dropbox account of their own to access my link. I just need them to upload their video files to my account - they don't need to have their own Dropbox accounts. Is there a way around this requirement to create accounts for these non-Dropbox users to access a shared directory?23Views1like1CommentWhere are shared files?
I wish to create a shared file that could be updated by two people. Where does that file exist? Is it my hard drive, the other party's hard drive, the cloud, or all three? What happens if my device is switched off, and the other party updates the file? Will I know as soon as I log in?1.5KViews1like2CommentsThe Share option is no longer available in the desktop version of Dropbox in Windows
Share is no longer available in the desktop version of Dropbox in File Explorer on my laptop. I have quit Dropbox in the Taskbar and re-launched it, but share is still not there. It was there 2 days ago, but after a Windows update, it's not there anymore.535Views1like4Comments
