I am trying to delete the Dropbox app from my Mac, but it gives me an error message saying 'The item “Dropbox” can’t be moved to the Trash because some of its plugins are in use', even after closing all other open applications. What could these plugins be and how can I stop them from being in use? ThanksSolved136KViews20likes48CommentsDropbox failed to uninstall - desktop version

I'm using my companies business dropbox account. And it created a folder called "Dropbox (my companies name here)". Is there a way to remove the space between "Dropbox" and "("? I don't want to have a space in the path. So the folder name will become "Dropbox-Company" or "Dropbox_Company" or something, but not space. It seems impossible.Solved42KViews68likes138CommentsRefreshing screen on Excel and Word - Windows 7

I am running the latest version of Ventura on Mac. After being a long time fan of dropbox, I decided to stop using it after having problems with the syncing function and the way it would move files around. Even after deleting the application, dropbox remains in "login items" underneath "Allow in the background." When starting up my mac, I get a notification message that dropbox wants to work in the background. How can I completely remove dropbox from my Mac? I would appreciate any help. Since upgrading from Windows 7 to Windows 10, there is a Dropbox icon in the Windows file explorer navigation pane. I already have a link to Dropbox and other cloud-storage options in the Quick links section of the file explorer, so I don't need this extra icon! How do I remove the Dropbox icon from the navigation pane? And to be clear, I don't mean the quick-link, I mean the stand-alone 'system-type' icon in the navigation area.18KViews8likes37CommentsI uninstalled the desktop app, but the Dropbox folder is still on my computer. The Dropbox Icon regularly disappears from the System Tray. When I've asked about this previously many answered "In Windows 10, you have to right-click on the Taskbar, choose Properties, and then click the Customize button" yet when I right click on the System Tray "Properties" is not one of the options. When I posted that problem I've been told "Right click your Notification icon in lower right try & Open Action Center. Then click (turn off) the TABLET MODE." but when I check I find it is already turned off. I've tried turning it on and off, restarting the PC etc etc but to no avail. In the past I've had to uninstall Dropbox from my PC and reinstall. Because I live in Suffolk, UK and British Telecom, the only landline provider, are disinterested in supplying Broadband in rural areas, we have to receive a wireless supply via church steeples! So each time I reinstall Dropbox it seems to take about 1 week to fully synchronise. Would be eternally grateful if someone can tell me how to get the Dropbox into the System Tray so that it stays there permanently.Solved17KViews0likes6Comments
