Hey I canceled my payment 3 days ago just after I had already paid one fee but you have taken a second charge a couple hours ago. Why should I be charged again, you gave no warning about taking another charge why would you take money in the space of 3 days like that when I have a canceled subscription ? You have no way to get in contact other than robots. I purchased the subscription less than a month ago so how have you guys taken over $60 for not even a month of use ? I feel like you take money off your customers and rely on robots to hide. My rating so far is 0/10 and i will not be using this service again if this can't be sorted out. Anyone reading check to make sure these guys don't rip you off also because if they are doing it to everyone then that's theft and they will be making millions off a service that holds just over a gig of storage for me lol. For some reason my automatic payment stopped and my account was downgraded. I then payed a yearly ammount to be upgraded again and my card was charged. But neither in the app neither online my account has been upgraded again, even though I payed for it. I dont want to lose my files. Hello, This is my first time posting here, but I find myself desperate. I paid for Dropbox Plus in August 2024 and have receipts to show for it. I recently decided to do a trial upgrade to Dropbox Essentials because I was having syncing issues and wondered if that would help. It did not - the syncing issues were resolved, related to something else. Today I went in to cancel my Essentials Trial since I no longer need it. Rather than placing me back on my Dropbox Plus account, I was downgraded all the way to Basic, which is now telling me I am using 40,033% of my storage. My only option is to upgrade, but I have already paid for a Dropbox Plus account and do not want to pay again. Can anyone advise? Of course I cannot reach Dropbox directly, so I don't know how to get this resolved...but I really don't think I should have to pay Dropbox again when I've already paid for the service they revoked from me. So it began with a 'FREE' trial for 30 days - I needed one use out of it. Yes my fault, did not write down when to cancel, even got an email saying that I wasn't using Dropbox enough. 3 days after they charged my credit card, I see it on my statement = CA$312.48 I go to cancel. NOT knowing 2 things: When you drop down to BASIC plan, email support, live chat support and phone support aren't supported on the Basic plan. Chatbox is included but it's unhelpful, it takes you around in circles. Now I'm here in Community forums and I'm not sure if anyone with authority is able to help me get my money back. When you cancel your subscription, MOST subscriptions will still allow you to have access to your subscription features until the end of the active billing cycle. NOT THIS ONE. I automatically paid for the year, realized what happened, cancelled my subscription without knowing the first fact and now I'm screwed. Do I need to pay for Dropbox Plus, Professional, Essentials again? To maybe get my money back for the first payment and this second one? Well done corporate entity. And now, you would even like to be trashing the stored data on the server space, which I already payed for the entire next year.
