When I'm collaborating with my clients, I usually have them comment on photos/videos, this way I can see what my clients think about the product. I would love to see Dropbox include an integration where we can filter the folder to show which content in a folder has a comment in it. Hi. I have a big problem. when starting the program, this message appears: "Dropbox has encountered problems joining [team name] and will have to re-sync your files." I can't even sign in to application. When i try, this message appears: "Unable to connect to Dropbox" I still can log in to web service. I have been down this road before and while I have been using Dropbox for about 15 or more years, am still confused by the newer offerings for project folder access via teams, etc. We are also very much at a point where we need to understand the best / economical options for our small firm. Am looking for a Dropbox user interface structure that has 1 administrator that can share project folders (individual or all) with up to 3-4 users, and that can grow if needed. Individual users have their own company email for sign in. It would also be beneficial to turn-on and off (ie not pay constant rate) for occasional consultants needing access to individual project folders to collaborate. It would also still be useful to share individual files or folders to outside users. We currently have an Essentials Plus account with 2TB of storage - we only use about 10% of this. There is a "Family Plan" which allows up to 6 users for around $200 per year and then there is a Business Plus which allows 3 users (or more) at $180 a pop per year. The $200 dollar option seems like it would be awesome given the price, but I'm sure there is a catch. Hi folks, I'm using Dropbox Professional, with 3TB worth of space that I'm told is almost used up. Unless I'm mistaken, I don't have the option of simply adding another one or more terabytes of space to give me more room. It seems I have no alternative to jump up to a Business account, but I'm a team of just one person and don't want to add more users. Do I have to pay for three users on a Business account even if there's only one active user (me), or can I still fly solo but have all the extra storage such accounts provide>? Weird problem. I manage do move a teamcatalogue on my pc to the hidden .dropbox.cache. It schwooosed there in there with a misclick in just a few seconds. And now the catalogue is stuck there, i can't move it back (you have no permission). Hi! We're considering moving over to a team account instead of several individual accounts. When we switch over will everyone lose their info from their previous individual accounts or will those items move with them? Do you get penalized if one or two members use the bulk of the storage or can it be shared however works best for our team? No clue what happened, so going to lay everything out here. Have a personal professional DB account, and upgraded to business as a trial, a business with 1 user. This creates two folders, your old personal file and the team folder. I didn't like how personal files are so close to business, i basically have my entire life in DB so wanted more separation and would recreate a business team account with my work email. Go into the business trial and cancel the trial. Which prompts you what would you like to do with the team files. There were no team files, I just created the account 5 min ago. There was only my personal files in a separate folder. So i hit delete permanently. My entire account is gone. It appears it permanently deleted everything and my account now says suspended if I try and login with my original email. I have a support ticket in, but currently freaking out as my entire life is in that Dropbox. I'm very tech savy and felt like that entire process was a disaster. If i have a personal account, and create a team, common sense would be the business and personal are separate files and not together.
