More fonts &/or ability to change/ highlight with colors in Paper
Was wondering if there is any plan to change font color or highlight colors in Paper? One suggestion from my simple mind - - How about changing the color of the highlight to red if there is a (-) and green when there is a (+) Thoughts?21KViews51likes32Comments
Mobile Dropbox app: handwriting/annotations (with pencil) for pdf, photos and drawing files
Do you want to use less paper and organise your handwritten annotations on digital files? In daily business, I need to review documents (pdf): highlighting, adding quick handwritten notes or adding symbols is very usefull. As a sailer, I make notes on weather charts(gif, png or jpeg), plot tidal calculations on a tidal template for a harbour (pdf). Or I need to draw secondary port calculations in a standard pdf template. As a musician, I make notes on a digital music sheet. There should be an option in the Dropbox app to add these annotations to the original document or to create a copy including the annotations (in the file name it adds your initials and a date). I know there is a feature to add signatures, but this proposal takes the next step! Create files (text and markdown) in Dropbox via web interface
Why Dropbox web interface allows only to create folders? Most of other cloud storages allow to create simple files (text, link, markdown) via web browser, and some alsow allow to create office files via MS Office online, Libreoffice or Onlyoffice instances. Please make ability to create at least simple files (text, links, markdown) via web browser in Dropbox website directly, without using desktop client.6.5KViews15likes12Comments
Annotating/ Marking up Images & PDFs
It would be great if dropbox could actually mark up/ annotate images & PDFs. When I say annotations & mark ups I am referring to drawing shapes (lines, circles, etc), arrows, text, highighter, etc on the image/ PDF. I know we can do with Preview & such but it is cumbersome using a 3rd party app. Evernote, for example, can annotate something within seconds & you keep moving along with your day. Allow editing of Dropbox Capture transcription (and thus closed captions)
I am trying out Dropbox Capture. Unlike Loom, there appears to be no capacity to edit transcripts and associated closed captions. Surely I am mistaken! The ability to edit a transcript (with flow-on effects to closed captions) is integral to reliable video production. Please remedy.
