You might see that the Dropbox Community team have been busy working on some major updates to the Community itself! So, here is some info on what’s changed, what’s staying the same and what you can expect from the Dropbox Community overall.
It would be great if dropbox could actually mark up/ annotate images & PDFs. When I say annotations & mark ups I am referring to drawing shapes (lines, circles, etc), arrows, text, highighter, etc on the image/ PDF. I know we can do with Preview & such but it is cumbersome using a 3rd party app. Evernote, for example, can annotate something within seconds & you keep moving along with your day.
This would allow taking notes in school with dropbox to be feasable

Thanks for the feedback though this was posted in 2020
I think images are starting to be considered via the Dropbox capture (beta). Granted, it is limited to desktop & not mobile so has limitations. Hopefully it will expand later
Either way thanks for the update

There is a native markup tool that is great on iOS. Even if the Dropbox app will allow use of this markup tool, it would be super helpful.
