Hello , I started dropbox business trial today and trying to share a folder to 2 users .But each time it is asking to verify email address and upon clicking the verification email it lead to dropbox home and nothing happens. Hi, my email archive has grown over the years – I want to keep all the important old stuff (since 1994) because it's kind of my personal archive. Now my mail provider (a little independent company) is complaining about the 50GB+ that I am using and wants to start charging me for that. There's plenty of space in my Dropbox so it would be great to be able to move old mail folders to Dropbox while still being able to access them from all my devices. In a nutshell, this is what I'd like to do: - Make the mailbox folders local on one of my computers so they don't take up space on my IMAP mail server - Move the local mbox folders to Dropbox while still being able to access them through the Mail.app - Then add them as local folders on other devices so they are available everywhere. When I go to my Drobox folders to share, I type in the email address of someone whose email it does not recognize. I can't share the folder because of this. This person is actually in my Outlook and gmail contacts, but still to no avail. Thank you for helping me. Hello. I have a basic (free) account and am attempting to test uploading files via email. I am running a Mac (sonoma 14.6.1) using Mac Mail. I set up the the email to dropbox feature at my Dropbox settings, received a confirming email that it was enabled and attempted to reply to that email (as suggested) with an email that has a simple JPEG (~3MB) attachment. No file appears in my "Email Attachments" folder. No note from Dropbox suggesting there is a problem or confirming the attempted upload. No bounced email. Plenty of room available in my account. I have seen in another thread on this forum that there seems to be a recurring problem with this feature. Can anyone comment about recurring problems? I've tried changing email, I've tried adding the contact, I've received the welcome to drop box email, but I cannot receive the verification email. I am trying to share a time sensitive file so if someone on the customer support team could reach out to me to resolve this issue it would be greatly appreciated. Hello For al long time I use “sendtodropbox” to send emails to my dropbox. The mails appear in the map “Apps” and the submap “attachments”. Since a few days the mails I send come back as “undelivered mail returned to sender”. Now I activated the “email to dropbox” in my account where I got a new email address. Normally the mails should come in the map “email attachments”. Now the mails are not “returned to sender” but I can not see them in my dropbox. Can anyone help me? Hi, I share about 100 folders everyday to clients and have been doing this for several years. Only a few days ago ALL the client emails which were almost anything other than gmail wouldn't work!! I have no idea what has changed. Hotmail account nothing etc. I do know I can copy the link and share via email but I want to have the Share / Transfer feature working like it did two days ago. any advice would be great please. the dropbox live chat was useless, I asked for a phone call but no support. I have Dropbox transfer. Once you create a transfer you have two options, "email" "link". If you select email and send the link that way, Dropbox tracks who got the link and let's you know when they opened it. If you select "link" Dropbox transfer does not track who got the link, and sayd it was downloaded, but not by whom. Any way to make the link setting behave like the email setting? I recently acquired a new client sharing data with my business via Dropbox with email links. My client's Dropbox folder notification in my email link = the folder and files do not exist. On my client's laptop, I can see the folders. this is an issue they are having with other suppliers. This is my first time using Dropbox. This is rather disappointing. Hi there, my company uses File Requests for our clients & subcontractors to submit required paperwork to us. We are having issues with one of our clients not getting upload receipts when she uses our File Request upload. We are receiving her documents but she is not getting confirmation. Here is the feedback she has given us: "I'm still not getting Dropbox receipts. I've closed my own Dropbox account, checked spam,and always loaded via the link on your website to be directed to Dropbox and use my correct email.
