For now, if you want to open a file with the KeePass app, you can do so by tapping the three dots (in browse or in the preview screen) and selecting the "Open With..." option.

Could you please let us know your device's exact OS version and the version of the Dropbox mobile app installed there as well?
if you can also send us a screenshot of the exact error you're getting, I'd appreciate it.
