Can't restore data from an old external device backup

When I look at DropBox with on the web, I can see that I have two external device backups named "Shared Data" and "Ventura ...". When I look at the backups using the app, I can only see one devi...

Some individual files are too big to zip so the won't download.

The rest of the files are scattered across such a huge number of folders that this is technically unworkable. 

There is also no way to determine which files are outstanding.

It. must be a use case that the reason for downloading a whole or portion of a backup is that a restore is required.

Looking at the Dropbox Backup Beta is that the 'Shared Data' backup is not listed. How can I fix this?
